Visit Game Reserves Without Leaving Home
65Who says you cannot view wildlife from home!
Well, living in South Africa has a lot of perks, as we are surrounded with Game Reserves, how ever this can be rather costly with the price of petrol, wear and tear on motor car, accomadation and the amount of time versus the time you can spend in the parks.
Well while surfing the net I discovered the best way to view not only animals, but see all sort of other sites as well.
All this, without leaving your home and being turn away from your PC and cold frosties in your fridge.
Two of the Big Five
Captured from a live web camera feed which you can find on ttp://www.sanparks.org, Look for the webcam tab on the site after you have read all there is on the web site.
Happy reading, and hopefully many hours of happy game viewing.
This is not all you can see from the your PC
Or if you are organised and have your laptop hooked up to you plasma Tv, you have the world at your fingertips and clicks away.
24/7 on http://www.earthcam.com\ enjoy all the vistas that are on there to offer.
I will update this hub with where and what is happening on this shrinking world.
Here is a link to Cape Town South Africa.

I love National Geographic's features on the wild so thanks for sharing the links :D
That's really cool... thanks
Great idea sharing that Rod. There are quite a few of these gamepark feeds. I think there is one at Pilanesberg too.
I wonder if everyone realises that these are live real time feeds not utube videos.
This is very cool with the webcam. I will have to visit again because there were no animals now but the cameras were all working. Thanks for sharing, very interesting material.
Very interesting 'view' you have when the time s right! Is that a female Eclectus parrot on your shoulder? She is beautiful!
I love live-cams. Many times it's the closest I'll ever get to actually seeing locations in real time. I'll check this out.
